Adoptables of Koarai

Adoptables were all the rage during the early 2000s era of Neopets. You made small, usually pixel-style art that was a template to mass produce fanart of other peoples’ characters. You would then find others (usually friends) who made adoptables and customize your cookie-cutter template to look like their character and exchange with each other. Trading with others was a great way to try to get cool new art of your own characters that weren’t fully illustrated, labour-intensive pieces. Below is my collection of adoptables for Koarai. Many of them I traded for but also quite a few were gifted to me by friends.

I am incredibly grateful to have so many friends and fans be supportive of Koarai over the years who would take precious time out of their day to draw him, whether it was a simple doodle or pouring hours into an illustration. Truly, you are all amazing and I cherish each and every one of these. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Koarai loves you, too! ♥
